1. Who I am
Michal Glinka, Warsaw, Poland — the data controller for this website. Contact: hello@michalglinka.com.
2. What data I collect
Contact details and messages you submit through forms (such as name, work email, company and your message), call time requests from the consultation page, newsletter sign-ups, and usage statistics saved as daily totals (see section 5).
3. Why and on what basis
To answer your message or run the call you requested (performance of a contract / pre-contract steps), to send the newsletter you subscribed to (consent), and to understand how the site is used and improve it (legitimate interest).
4. Services that process your data
Hostinger hosts this site, and form submissions are stored on my server there. Connection data such as IP addresses may be processed to deliver and secure the site, and my email provider handles messages when we correspond. YouTube (Google) provides embedded videos in its privacy-enhanced mode: when you scroll to a video on a page, your browser connects to YouTube, which receives your IP address and may transfer data outside the EEA. YouTube has its own privacy policy.
5. Cookies and statistics
This site does not set cookies for visitors, so there is no cookie banner. One essential cookie is used only when I log in to the private admin panel. YouTube may store cookies or similar data on your device if you play an embedded video. I count visits with my own tool, without cookies: for each page view the server notes the page, the referring website or campaign source, and the device type (computer, phone or tablet), and saves only daily totals. To count daily visitors, it combines your IP address and browser details with a random value into a hash that stays in memory and is discarded when the day changes. Your IP address is not saved in the statistics; it is also held briefly in memory to limit abuse.
6. Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right to withdraw consent. Write to hello@michalglinka.com. You can also complain to the Polish supervisory authority (UODO).
7. Retention
Form and call data: as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, or until you ask me to delete it, unless I need it to establish or defend legal claims. Newsletter: until you ask to be removed. Usage statistics: daily totals are kept for as long as they help me understand long-term trends.
8. Changes
This policy may change. The date at the top always shows the current version.
