Brand24 in 30 seconds
Brand24 is a social listening and media monitoring platform that I rate 4.7/5 and consider a great tool for monitoring phrases, reputation management and monitoring phrases in LLMs. Plans run from $199 to $599 a month on annual billing, with Enterprise from $1,499. It suits teams that need to catch mentions, sentiment shifts and reputation issues without an enterprise-grade contract.
- Main strength: mention coverage across social, news, blogs, forums, podcasts, video and reviews in one feed
- Best for: B2B marketing teams, PR and communications teams, and agencies reporting on several brands
- Skip it if: you need a publishing and scheduling tool, or you only want a few alerts on a small budget
- Rated elsewhere: 4.6/5 on G2 (355 reviews), 4.5/5 on SaaSworthy and 9.0/10 on TrustRadius
What is Brand24?
Brand24 is a social listening and media monitoring platform that started in Wrocław, Poland, in 2011. You set up projects around brand names, competitors or topics, and it collects public mentions from social networks, news sites, blogs, forums, podcasts, video platforms and reviews. Brand24 puts its coverage at more than 25 million sources.
On top of the feed, it scores sentiment, reach and share of voice, and flags unusual spikes. The AI Visibility module adds a second layer: it checks how ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, DeepSeek and Grok answer branded, category and comparison prompts, and which sources they cite.
One thing it is not: a social media management suite. It listens and reports, but you publish and schedule elsewhere. Coverage also has limits, because it depends on each platform's data access, and TV, radio and print-only coverage fall outside it.
What I rate Brand24 for
I think Brand24 is a great tool for three jobs: monitoring phrases, managing reputation and monitoring phrases in LLMs.
Monitoring phrases. You choose the brand names, competitors and category terms that matter, and Brand24 collects public mentions of them from social networks, news, blogs, forums, podcasts, video and reviews. Separate projects also let you compare share of voice and sentiment against competitors over time.
Reputation management. Storm Alerts and the anomaly detector flag sudden changes in mention volume, so a complaint thread or a bad press story reaches you while you can still respond. Slack and email notifications bring those signals to the people who need to act.
Monitoring phrases in LLMs. Buyers increasingly ask LLMs for shortlists. AI Visibility shows how ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, DeepSeek and Grok answer branded, category and comparison prompts, and which sources they cite. I cover the wider approach in my guide to reputation management in the LLM era.
The four features that earn the price
Mention monitoring across public sources
One feed covers social networks, news, blogs, forums, podcasts, video and reviews, with filters, tags and geolocation to cut the noise. How often it refreshes depends on the plan: every 12 hours on Individual, hourly on Team and in real time from Pro.
AI sentiment and emotion analysis
Every plan includes AI sentiment analysis, which helps you read trends across thousands of mentions. Reviewers do report inconsistent accuracy, so treat it as a directional signal and read the mentions behind any number you plan to present.
Alerts, AI Insights and reports
Storm Alerts and personalized notifications cover the urgent side, while email reports and PowerPoint, Excel or infographic exports cover reporting. AI Insights, AI Topics and the AI Brand Assistant start on the Pro plan, and Advanced Reports on Business.
AI Visibility
This module tracks your brand across six LLMs with a Brand Score, average position, share of voice, citations and prompt-level changes, then suggests what to work on. It comes with Enterprise and is an add-on on lower plans, and Brand24 doesn't publish its price, so ask for a quote before you count on it.
Pros and cons
Who should (and shouldn't) buy it
Skip it if: you need publishing and scheduling (wrong category), you need TV, radio and print coverage, or a handful of keyword alerts is enough for what you do today.
Brand24 pricing in 2026
Prices from Brand24's pricing page, checked November 2026. To move to annual billing, start the trial and contact Brand24. Verify current prices at brand24.com/prices before committing.
Is it worth $199 a month? Work out your limits before you look at the price. Count the keywords you need for brand, competitors and category terms, then estimate monthly mentions during the trial. Those two numbers usually decide your plan.

My verdict
Brand24 is a great tool for monitoring phrases, for reputation management and for monitoring phrases in LLMs. It brings public mentions into one place, shows how sentiment and share of voice move, and warns you when something spikes. AI Visibility extends that to LLM answers, which is where more of the buying conversation now happens. Buy it if your brand, competitors and category generate enough conversation to act on. Skip it if you only need a few alerts or a publishing tool.
